But one daring adventurer has discovered their only weakness: the brilliance of their colour. Your objective is to absorb the spirit of every Sentinel across the ten sacred temples. Each temple contains three interconnected screens that share the same setting but feature different platform layouts. Each Sentinel has a unique colour—and must be captured in a specific sequence. Your player’s colour reveals which Sentinel you must capture next. Colliding with a Sentinel of the wrong color costs a life. Once all Sentinels in a temple have been captured, a stargate will open. Step through it to advance to the next level.

Randoom Ancient Stones is perfect for those seeking arcade-style gameplay that’s easy to pick up and offers a dash of replay value. With responsive controls, varied level themes, and a multitude of in-game jingles, there’s plenty of fun to be had—especially for players who prefer a more casual gaming experience. The inclusion of random reward and penalty bubbles, along with combo mechanics for higher scores, adds a layer of depth for high-score chasers.
That said, the background graphics could benefit from additional refinement to achieve a higher level of visual fidelity, and some level layouts feel a bit overused. Still, the in-between graphical interludes are a nice touch—one I would have liked to see extended to the intro and end screens as well.
Despite these minor gripes, it’s undeniable that Randoom Ancient Stones delivers an addictive experience that will keep you coming back. It’s also a great game to challenge a friend and see who can top the leaderboard.
