Game description: By day, you're a world-famous video game hero, doomed to wander around boring mazes all day long munching on tasteless pallets. But secretly what you really love are sweet, round, delicious donuts. So when night falls, you don a mask and sneak away from your maze to explore the haunted warehouses of the donut factories. Your mission is to find and eat as many donuts as you can - before the ghosts get you! Super Donuts make you invincible for a few seconds. Stinky Cheese: Gives you such bad breath that ghosts will stop chasing you temporarily. While eating a lightbulb will plunge the warehouse into darkness until you eat a second one to restore the light! Once you collect all the donuts, press the fire button to spit donuts at the ghosts and eliminate them.

Summary
Well this was a nice surprise to the Pacman genre. The variations included in the game makes Donutsman to be a far more engaging proposition. The energy count mechanism, the blackout feature and needing to shoot the ghosts at the end of each level makes it far more enjoyable than a standard Pacman experience.
Within its design scope, the game is very well presented and I really enjoyed the somewhat chilled in game SID tune but there is one thing that does hold the game back from being a must play experience and that is that the game plays too slow for what is supposed to be an arcade style of game. Sort out the speed issue and then we have a real winner here.
